Quince 'Pineapple'
Quince are a versatile and old fashioned fruit. Great for bottling, roasting, puddings and jam. They are one of the hardiest fruit trees, tolerating drought, extreme cold, wet, and wind. The fruit are fragrant when ripe and can hang on the tree into the early winter months. The flesh becomes a dark amber red when cooked. At home in a savory dish or a sweet one. Self fertile.
