Watering/Feeding
A very important aspect to growing happy healthy disease resistant roses is watering well. A well watered rose fights disease better, takes up nutrients better, flowers more profusely, has glossy and lush green foliage. Water at the base of the plant and avoid watering on the foliage as this can encourage disease. Push your index finger into the soil near the rose as deep as you can, if it comes out dry then it needs water.
Feed roses with a good rose food three times over the growing season- september, december and march. Feeding provides healthy growth and vibrant good size blooms.
